The Advanced TASER® M18L has been reintroduced and renamed the TASER® M26c™. It was modeled after the police TASER® M26. The TASER M26c™ is now identical to the TASER® M26 Law Enforcement version, except civilians can only buy the 15 foot TASER® cartridges.

All of the TASER® M26c™ accessories will fit both the Advanced TASER® M18 or the Advanced TASER® M18L devices.

TASER® M26c™ vs Advanced TASER® M18L

The difference between TASER® devices is that the TASER® M26c™ has 26 watts, and the TASER® M18L had18 watts.  This causes a slight pulse rate change depending on the battery type used:

TASER® M26c™:
   20 PPS +/- 25% with NiMH rechargeable batteries
   15 PPS +/- 25% with alkaline batteries

TASER® M18L:
   15 PPS +/- 25% with NiMH rechargeable batteries
   12 PPS +/- 25% with alkaline batteries

Note: PPS is Pulse Per Second.

All of the TASER® M26c™ accessories will fit both the Advanced TASER® M18 or the Advanced TASER® M18L devices.
