The TASER® M26c™ uses a replaceable TASER® cartridge to deploy two small probes that are attached to the TASER® device. The TASER® M26c™ transmits electrical pulses through the wires and into the body affecting the sensory and motor functions of the peripheral nervous system. The 44009 model of the TASER® M26c™ replaces the ADVANCED TASER® M18L.

Features	Details for TASER® M26c™
LED	TASER® M26c™ has integrated laser sight with LED.
Laser	There is an Integrated 650 Nanometer (nm) wavelengths, daytime laser sight used for target acquisition. The TASER® M26c™ laser is optimized at 13 foot range.
Other Aiming Mechanisms	This TASER® device has fixed front and rear “fin and blade” sights.
Stun Capabilities	The TASER® M26c™ device can be used in a touch-stun mode. It is capable of drive-stun with or without the TASER® Cartridge installed. You are thus provided with a final backup if the probes miss the target. Should you miss or engage a second attacker, you can touch the unit directly to the target and it will work like a powerful touch stun device.
Charge Penetration	Electrical charge from a TASER® M26c™ can penetrate up to 2″ (5 cm) cumulative of clothing, or one inch per probe.
LED Indicator	The high visibility red LED indicator on the TASER® M26c™ shows that the laser is on and the device is capable of firing, but does NOT indicate that there is sufficient battery power to fire or discharge. This TASER® device is calibrated for alkaline batteries
