TASER® X26c™ uses a replaceable TASER® cartridge to deploy two small probes that are attached to the TASER® device. The TASER® X26c™ transmits electrical pulses through the wires and into the body affecting the sensory and motor functions of the peripheral nervous system. The 26009 model of the TASER® X26c™ has a black body with silver grip plates.

LED	TASER® X26c™ has integrated ultra-bright LEDs (low intensity illumination - LIL).
Laser	There is an Integrated 650 Nanometer (nm) wavelengths, daytime laser sight used for target acquisition. The TASER® X26c™ laser is optimized at 13 foot range.
Other Aiming Mechanisms	This TASER® device has high visibility sights.
Digital Power Magazine (DPM)	The TASER® X26c™ DPM (Digital Power Magazine) provides 200 10-second firings at room temperature.
Stun Capabilities	The TASER® X26c™ device can be used in a touch-stun mode. It is capable of drive-stun with or without the TASER® Cartridge installed. You are thus provided with a final backup if the probes miss the target. Should you miss or engage a second attacker, you can touch the unit directly to the target and it will work like a powerful touch stun device.
Charge Penetration	Electrical charge from a TASER® X26c™ can penetrate up to 2″ (5 cm) cumulative of clothing, or one inch per probe.
